Air 1 Aviation believes in providing airline safety with the convenience of private charter operations. Our first and only Director of Operations is a retired U.S. Airways Senior Captain. He brought with him a strict and thorough culture of safety first. Although we don’t fly 767’s we do mimic those flight crews when it comes to procedures. While on the ground our pilots are quite friendly but they become very serious while in the air.
Although our first priority is safety we also are aware of our clients’ priorities. Air charter is an expensive proposition and we treat you with the respect you deserve. If you have special needs, a unique request, or simply have questions we will do our best to satisfy you. We respect your privacy and value your time.
A website is a great place to research charter options, however, we at Air 1 believe that it is not the ideal place to decide where to charter. We hope you will consider meeting with us, talking to our pilots and touring our facilities. Let us take you to lunch and present our services to you. We will even come to you if that is your preference.
We are based at Tampa International Airport at Tampa Jet Center, which is one of the finest general aviation terminals in the nation. We are mere minutes away from St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport (PIE), Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), and Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (LAL), making it easy for us to pick you up or drop you off at those locations.
If we do not have an aircraft available we will be happy to help you locate an alternative air carrier.
