Air 1 Aviation’s aircraft management program is unique to the Tampa Bay area. While certainly profit motivates us, we believe that profit follows service. With that in mind, our management services are charged as a flat fee. Monthly fees are based on the level of service you require. That fee is the only profit source for us. There are no add-on fees.
Our motivation for a having a flat-fee structure is that we wish to have a fiduciary relationship with our clients instead of an “endless-source-of-income” relationship (unfortunately, the latter occurs all too often). We don’t profit from service, parts, or fuel. Or from the endless list of other fees that plague aircraft owners. It is a fact that aircraft ownership is an expensive endeavor. The least we can do is to be completely open book so that our clients can see the true sources of their expenses.

Flight crew recomendations and training

Since we do not profit from pilot services our motivation is to find the most competent pilots we can, not those willing to fly for the lowest price. We can assist aircraft owners in the selection process of the pilots they hire. We monitor crew duty times and verify crew qualifications, ratings, and currency. We mandate recurrent training and follow a stringent drug and alcohol testing program.

Maintenance Oversight

The safety of our clients is everything to us at Air 1 Aviation. Clearly, flight safety requires diligent and thorough maintenance of the aircraft. We will make sure your aircraft is maintained to the highest standard and complies with all laws and regulations. Air 1 is keenly aware that a proactive maintenance program will increase utilization rates and the resale value of the aircraft. We pride ourselves on the proper caretaking of your maintenance records and can oversee all inspections, repairs, modifications and refurbishments.

Flight scheduling / Travel Assistance

We can provide flight scheduling, dispatch and flight following for all trips. In addition, we can provide concierge services, price shop fuel, and when necessary suggest alternative flight options.

Charter revenue program

For clients interested in having their aircraft placed on our FAA Air Carrier Certificate, we will be happy to discuss the pros and cons with you. Many aircraft owners are intrigued by the opportunity to generate revenue with their asset and learn of tax benefits available. Obviously a website is not the place to decide on an aircraft management company. If you are considering placing your aircraft under management or changing management companies please give us a call.
